Eli is a Social Work therapist (LCSW) who has worked in a psych hospital, intensive outpatient clinics and currently works in a group and private practice. He created ELIvation to fill a need to help those in struggling times and add some extra inspiration and motivation into everyday life.
Eli has been featured on Kelly Clarkson show, IVF Warrior, Fruitful, Breaking Taboo and on multiple podcast ranging from parenting, relationships, mental health and infertility
His main goal is to help people on their journey to add support, care, empathy, expertise, and insight. He run events, seminars and individual coaching on topics from mental health awareness, public speaking coaching, relationship coaching and confidence boosting.
In this episode, Archie and Eli start the conversation around the way that COVID brought a lot of existing issues to the surface for a lot of people. A lot of mental health clinics have seen a rise in requests for treatment. Although many facilities currently have waiting lists, teletherapy has created wider access to mental health treatment. Eli dispels the myth that you’re stuck with a therapist once you start seeing them and shares some things to consider when you’re trying to find a therapist that’s a good fit for you.
